Eliza Gonzalez is currently Sr. Director, Procurement Citizenship Center of Excellence at Johnson & Johnson. In this role, Eliza leads a team responsible for developing and executing business strategies and solutions that minimize risk and enhance company reputation through our vast network of suppliers. Her scope includes supplier diversity and inclusion, supplier sustainability, and providing solutions that help the business manage risk in the supplier base.
Prior to her current role, Eliza was responsible for leading talent development for Global Procurement where she led her team to deploy the first-ever Procurement functional competency model, earn a top 5 spot for five consecutive years in the mbaexchange.com global ranking for their Procurement Leadership Development Program, and launch numerous programs to support learning and development. Eliza’s cross-functional career at Johnson & Johnson began in 1986 in finance and accounting roles followed by a career pivot to clinical R&D contracting before eventually transitioning to a series of Procurement roles.
Eliza holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also serves on the board of Junior Achievement of New Jersey and participates in the American Corporate Partners mentoring program to mentor military veterans as they transition to corporate careers.
Eliza’s passions outside of work include enjoying life with her husband and their three children, delicious yet healthy meals, and daily 5AM fitness classes at her favorite gym.
