Maggie Hardy Magerko

Maggie Hardy Magerko was appointed President of 84 Lumber Company in 1992 with day-to-day responsibility for operations of the company founded by her father, Joe Hardy, in 1956 in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania. Maggie began training for this position when she was just five years-old, accompanying her father to corporate headquarters, on-site inspections and store visits. In her early twenties, Maggie went to work at the Bridgeville, Pennsylvania store to expand her knowledge of the daily store operations.
Maggie’s leadership and vision have been critical success factors as 84 Lumber and the building industry navigated through unprecedented times over the past few years. Maggie made a number of strategic moves to lead the company through the housing downturn and leave it now positioned for growth as the housing market recovers.
Maggie is also Owner and President of Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania.
